A while back, a friend of mine stayed at this spooky little bed and breakfast filled with hundreds of creepy rocking horses. Like the narrator in the story, he’d booked online at the last minute and had no idea what horrors awaited him. At one time, the inn was a convent for nuns, and the owners kept the original plaques with the sisters’ names on the room doors. NOT WEIRD AT ALL. The decor was giving solid Victorian seance vibes, but also, hardcore grandma-who-decorates-with-items from-a-church-bazaar energy. I was so fascinated by my friend’s description, that I asked him to take as many pictures as he could over his two night stay, so eventually I could make a zine about it.
