This five layer screen print was the inspiration for my artist’s book “Tracking B15” which explores the life span of the largest iceberg to break off of Antarctica in recorded history. Scientists tracked B15 and all the smaller bergs that it birthed for almost 20 years as it swirled around the southern continent. I gave the smaller bergs B nicknames to personify the phenomenon of iceberg calving.
